Kinivo BTC450 Bluetooth Hands-Free car kit for car&hellip by Kinivo
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, 4 Jun 2014
I used to have the "Avantree Cara Bluetooth Stereo In-Car Handsfree Kit" but that had some irritating issues (I gave it 3 stars) so I bought this looking for a better solution.

The Kinivo BTC450 is superb. It comes on when you turn the car ignition on and turns off when you turn the ignition off. It sounds obvious, but the Avantree Cara doesn't do it... The audio quality is also excellent. Voice calls are clear and the music quality is superb. Way better than you would expect from something at this price. No background hiss, interference or similar issues.

Absolutely recommended.

I wanted this as a car bluetooth adapter as I have no bluetooth in my car but do have an "aux" input. It was OK-ish, but had some really irritating issues. Firstly, there was a quiet whistling sound whenever the power was connected so I couldn't leave the power lead connected so that the battery would never go flat. Secondly, I couldn't make it automatically turn on whenever I turned the ignition on in the car. I always had to turn it with the switch on its side.

Audio quality was pretty good although the bass was rather boomy.

If you want a Bluetooth adapter for a car with an aux input, buy the Kinivo BTC450 instead… Read more

He picks it up and plays with it, sometimes dropping it from a height. Then he tries to fly it using the remote control which usually means he just applies full power making it go straight up in the air until it crashes into the ceiling.

Yes, the blades are quite chipped now... but it still flies well enough.
So far, the faults are (after many weeks of play):
1) The battery power lead came off once when he flew it at full speed into a table. But it was easily taken apart, the wire soldered back on, the battery re-seated more firmly with sellotape and re-assembled… Read more
