Toby Fletcher's Fly-Away Tree by Nicky Jones
This is a highly imaginative novel which sees Toby Fletcher discovering the special qualities of the tree in his garden when he rescues a blackbird and gains access to a parallel universe. The real world and Avia become tangled when Toby's sister is captured by the evil Almeena Magpie, and the fact that Toby's bullies get their comeuppance when they are pulled into the action is a satisfying twist. Readers will enjoy hearing about the different species of birds in Avia - particularly the starling law enforcers! The narrative is injected with a good dose of action and adventure.

The case is a good size, with plenty of room for papers as well as your laptop and is really sturdy not like some of the cheap rubbish.
A good size pocket on the front too for extra bits and pieces like your charger is always useful.

All in all a good case at a good price.

I am not a fan of climbing at all, but heard a brief amount about this story and decided to get it - I was not disappointed. Unlike some of the more negative reviews I found the explanations of climbing terminology and processes easy to understand and quite straight to the point.

The book avoids filling spaces with waffle and useless snippets just to fill pages and had me gripped from start to finish. A really brave man, who had to use all of his skill and then all of his courage.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone!
