Having been a fan of Richard and Linda Thomson in their early days, I decided to give this album a try. Boy was I surprised. It has a nice mix of up to date and retro music. Try the opening track for a start. You can see the influence of his mum and dad on some tracks but don't be fooled. He is very much his own man.

I was led to believe this album was good so, I buy it from Amazon (who else?) It is not good, it is phenomenal, and that is an understatement. It starts with Cosmos Rockin' which is probably the most Queen(ish) song on the album and that is good. THEN it's pure Paul Rodgers next with for me the best track on the album,Time To Shine. Personally I can't stop playing this track, the vocals are sublime. The rest of the album follows building on the quality of the first two tracks with track 9 Some Things That Glitter being especialy pleasing on the ear. This album is deffo 5 star material. If you are a Queen or Paul Rodgers fan,or indeed a fan of quality rock buy it. You will not regret it… Read more

It is a well built monitor which oozes quality. Why only 4 stars then? It does have 2 or 3 shortcomings, firstly, 2 power packs are required which adds to the clutter of wiring needed. Secondly, The speakers and subwoofer just don't sound that good although adequate for run of the mill apps. And finally why have they put the 3 USB ports on the front and the card reader on the side of the base unit. Surely the other way round would have been more practical. The iPod dock does it's job well as it makes… Read more
