I read this book after reading Richard Dawkins' 'The God Delusion' on his recommendation.
Harris' arguments against religion are logically and elegantly put. He writes very clearly and makes his points well and the 'letter' is very readable. He is completely fair with his arguments and is at pains to point out that the letter, whilst written to the Cristian American public, applies equally to all faiths (a point that was singularly missed by RC Metcalf in his attempted rebuttal).
A fine piece of work and very well worth having. Almost pocket sized for arming oneself against religious dogma.
