A lighthearted and fun tale of love, friendship and hamster superheroes! Written with imagination and a sense of humour, if you're looking for something a bit different, this is the book for you.

What can I say that hasn't been said before about this fantastic show. The decision to cancel after just one season was frankly criminal! This is intelligent, entertaining and appealing writing, backed up with some very convincing acting.

'Moonlight' managed to avoid all the pitfalls that a vampire story can easily fall into. The supernatural element was never overplayed and fit into the plot perfectly. The balance of romance, drama, humour and angst was just right and - best of all - the series did not take itself (or the vampire tradition) too seriously. There are many great tongue-in-cheek moments that make the show really enjoyable to watch.

This book suffers from a couple of problems. As has already been mentioned, the main one is Edward's absence from most of the story (a somewhat unexpected decision by the author!) Jacob Black can be an interesting character in his own right but there really is no question about who the 'hero' of the books is. To have a huge chunk of the story without Edward is rather frustrating - I found I was too impatient to find out what he and the other Cullens were doing to pay proper attention to the middle chapters.
