A Sting in the Tale by Dave Goulson
A Sting in the Tale by Dave Goulson
As a keen gardener I have been aware of the need to protect our bumble bee population for some time but I didn't know that much about the little creatures so asked for this book as a Christmas Gift. It is an absolute joy to read because it is written in such an engaging way as described in the other reviews. It is the first natural history book I have ever read that I found hard to put down! It will make a read difference to what and how I plant in my garden, but best of all I'll see all the bees I'll have in my garden and see in the countryside in a different light - I can't wait for spring now!
Nursing Older Adults by Jan Reed
Nursing Older Adults by Jan Reed
This book has the potential to help adult nurses to think in a way that could make the nursing of older people the high quality, sensitive and effective service it should always have been. As a University Nursing Lecturer I would particularly recommend it to student nurses who need this insight right from the beginning of their training. Equally it is of use to the qualified adult nurse who needs to revisit their skills, knowledge and attitudes towards working with older people no matter where they work.

QuikCLOSET Clothes Storage System AH3X12 by InstaHANGER

A fantastic way to provide temporary clothes hanging space in a room with not enough space for a wardrobe and so you can fold it away to the wall when not in use. We have put ours in a small spare bedroom. Well designed (in Canada I think( and made (in China, of course) it is strong enough to the job well and easy to fix up with clear instructions - even for a diy novice. Great product.
