Catastrophobia: The Truth Behind Earth Changes and&hellip by Barbara Hand Clow
1.0 out of 5 stars Dear oh dear..., 2 Jun 2014
In short, this book is the biggest pile of twaddle it has been my misfortune to read in a long time. It does nothing to further the field of alternative history and the quest for the truth of mankind's origins and history.

Save your hard-earned for something more factually based and less 'channelled'.

A one star rating only because I couldn't give it a zero. Avoid.

We ordered 2 of these for a recent camping trip, and I have to say that - for the price - they were just the ticket.
Battery life over the week we were away was excellent - the original batteries we put in lasted the whole week.
Not the brightest lamps around, but 2 of them adequately illuminated a six man tent - well enough to play cards and sew by!

I ordered a pair of these secateurs for willow basket work after reading the favourable reviews written previously, but I have to say that I'm not overly impressed with them.
I decided to buy a new pair as my previous secateurs, made by Stanley, tended to struggle to cut thinner wet material cleanly. Unfortunately I've encountered exactly the same problem with this model, plus the cut is far from clean on other thicknesses, leaving a tag on one side of the cut - although at least I can fiddle about with the blades on this pair to hopefully produce a cleaner cut.
All in all, at this stage, I wish I hadn't bothered forking out for these.
