5.0 out of 5 stars modern day austen, 28 Dec 2009
Having read both this book and the original Jane Austen version, i think this book is a great modern day twist on the classical read. It takes the old characters and brings them to life for a different generation, making the story easier to understand. Ihe book itself is about a modern Lizzie born to a modern world, it is full of the classic romance we all love, and the hetic Bennet family. I would recommend this book to people who love a classic romance.
Kiki Strike: Inside the Shadow City by Kirsten Miller
4.0 out of 5 stars an intresting read, 28 Dec 2009
To me this book is full of adventure and mystery. One fault with this book is that it can become dull, and has a rather slow start to it, but once you get into th book it does capture your attention more with it's characters and plot line. This book is suited towards to people who enjoy real life adventures, that couuld happen.

4.0 out of 5 stars an excellent read, 28 Dec 2009
Avalon high was a captivating read, that captured my attention from the first word to the last. The book was a modern day twist on an old legend, which makes this book stand out among the rest. Although the book starts off at a slow pace, it soon hooks you into reading more. I recomended this to all my school friends, and i would recomend this to readers who have read meg cabot books before.
