A fantastic piece of film work!
The film offers humour throughout as well as full steamed jeopardy around every corner! Any Thomas fan will be entertained "from start to very end" and with nail biting drama, 'Blue Mountain Mystery' has revived Thomas from the current television series and has proved HiT's excellence with the return of the narrow gauge engines. A fantastic finale for the end of Nitrogen Studios's involvement with the CGI.
Well worth a purchase for Thomas enthusiasts!
Thomas & Magic Railroad [DVD] [2000] [Region 1] [U&hellip DVD ~ Alec Baldwin
Thomas and the Magic Railroad is a very underrated film. The sets and visual aspects of the film are overlooked by the cast; who I feel weren't too bad. 1.0 out of 5 stars Down, Down & CRASH!, 13 May 2012
Most of what's on this DVD consists of pure morals and over exaggerated stupidity from characters who were once telling each other to "Shut Up" when arguing. This preschooled makeover of a classic show has been churned up into a fake and strangely coloured visual style that ruins the show's origin and charm it once had. Overpriced not to mention!
If your children desire Thomas entertainment then an investment in the first 7 series will keep them entertained for hours- without morals being shoved down their throats and unrealism boring them for a solid 8 minutes at a time, spend less money and entertain your child for less with the classic series from 1-7.
