I recieved this today and what can I say - it's simply the best version of F.L.M ever. The booklet is beautiful, all done in a Mel and Kim style that matches the back cover of the Showing Out single (the graphic designer really did their homework) and it's packed full of rare pics of the girls, including covers from Number One and Look In!

As well as lots of pics there's a foreword by Kim, a VERY comprehensive four page biography of the girls, as well as page by page information and photos on every single they released. Each single has images of the many variations of cover they had in different territories, as well as picture discs and rare editions.

Best of Crapston Villas 1 [DVD] [1998] [Region 1] &hellip DVD ~ Jane Horrocks

This release is very dissapointing. The whole show was only ten minutes long when broadcast on channel 4 back in the 90s - this dvd only features 5 RANDOM episodes, in no chronological order - so you don't have a clue as to the storyline or what's going on. Where is the complete season 1 & 2? at best they are probably only an hour or so long each, but that is still better than 5 random 10 minute episodes from either series flung together in haste. It's about time manufacturing firms pulled their finger out and gave these shows the releases they deserve.

This is a great movie. It's not without it's flaws however, for a start they dramatize things a bit and make Marilyn look like a nutter with split personalites in places - which has no evidence of truth to back it up. However this does make for some great viewing, the final scene in the bathroom where Norma Jeane tells Marilyn in the mirror that she has 'lost her mind' is especially emotional and gives you an insight into perhaps Monroe's last hours with us.

More could have been done with the film in exhibiting some of Marilyn's more iconic images, the diamonds are a girls best friend iconic image and her most famous image in the white dress that blows up over the subway gate are… Read more
