4 Tier Adjustable Shelf Bathroom Organiser by Betterware
I'm pretty chuffed with my organiser. It's not super-fancy but it's simple, smart and clean looking, and does the job.

I needed it to go in the corner next to my wash basin because the walls are plasterboard and I wasn't keen on trying to get fixings to stay in the right place so that I could have corner shelves that didn't fall off the wall.

It isn't a heavyweight item and all I store on this gizmo are facial wash, hand wash, a flannel and and toothbrush/toothpaste. It isn't particularly laden but I think it could take a few more things. Nothing seriously heavy, mind you - the shelves are a wee bit too bendy for that.

Flymo Chevron 34VC 1400W 34cm Electric 4-Wheeled L&hellip by Flymo
To put this review in context, you need to understand that my 'lawn' is more meadow than golf course, and my grass is more weed bed than anything else (clover, dandelion, thistles, cow parsley, you name it), with an uneven surface and many hidden stones and obstacles. What possessed me to chuck this poor mower at the task of cutting it I can't say, but I didn't have a strimmer and the grass was getting ridiculously long so in… Read more

Propellerhead by Antony Woodward
I've previously read Tony Woodward's second book, and loved hearing him speak too, and so I was fairly sure I would enjoy this book. How right I was!

I'm not an aviator but I have done some paragliding, so I could appreciate some of the technical problems and general frustrations of flying a small craft. But even if you know nothing about flying at all, it won't prevent you from laughing out loud many times while reading this book.

In relating his memoir, Woodward is so frank, honest and ingenuous that you can't help but like him. Even though by his own admission he does some damn silly things with the aircraft he buys so hastily, he still manages to be… Read more
