This sounded intriguing but it wasn't fast paced or suspenseful. I'm baffled as to how it can be considered a psychological thriller. It was obvious to me who the 'villain' was going to turn out to be, and the end scenes were utterly ridiculous considering they were in the room of a coma patient. Way too long, and very slow and boring at times. Disappointing and cannot be compared to the exceptional 'Before I Go to Sleep' which is in a different league.
Wanted: Most Wanted Book 1 by J. Kenner
I was looking forward to this, and although an ok read it's nowhere near as good as the Stark trilogy. What I like about J Kenner's writing is the fact there is a decent back story as well as the sexy stuff, and the same applies here. I just found the story a bit too corny, and everything fell into place for Angie and Evan a bit too quickly.

I also felt Angie was a bit too much like Nikki (from Stark trilogy) in terms of the language. Lots of 'hell I' and 'oh hell' and 'hell yeah' seemed to fit with Nikki being from Texas, but it was used again in Wanted. Overused in fact, I got sick of all the 'hells' in the end.

I've already bought the second Most Wanted book… Read more

2.0 out of 5 stars Slow and boring, 27 July 2014
The first pages looked promising, with Hannah arriving in a storm to meet husband Mark at the airport, only for him not to arrive. But then it quickly went downhill and was sooo slooow. I guessed what I imagine was supposed to the 'twist' (as no other twists came). By the end (after skimming numerous boring pages of mundane detail) I was left disappointed. As for being 'tense', I've personally experienced more tension standing in a supermarket queue. Story line sounded good but disappointingly it failed to deliver.
