5.0 out of 5 stars Unusual film, 2 Jun 2014
Toby Stephens stars in this unusual Sci-Fi film , i wasn't sure what to expect but it kept me interested all through . Caity Lotz is excellent as well as the female lead and the film keeps up a fast pace with lots of surprises . I really enjoyed it much to my surprise as I'm not into Sci-fi usually . Entertaining .

4.0 out of 5 stars A great story, 2 Jun 2014
A good film although I have reservations , Robert Redford is much better than the Di Caprio version , but both are too old for the part for my taste . I much prefer the Toby Stephens version as the age is much closer to the book, and he plays Gatsby to perfection .
Having said that Mia Farrow is the perfect Daisy and the production is classy and beautifully filmed . Worth watching .
The Great Gatsby [DVD] [2013] DVD ~ Leonardo DiCaprio
The Great Gatsby [DVD] [2013] DVD ~ Leonardo DiCaprio
A disappointment really , after all the hype . I thought Leonardo Di Caprio , who I usually like , was much too old for the role .
I didn't much like the girl who played Daisy either, and all that frantic partying was overdone . I am a great fan of the book
and this film couldn't conjure up that unique charm that only Fitzgerald can bring to this , his greatest book .
