Pros
- Bright with clarity at the top end and middle (so good for spoken audio).
- Comfortable in the ear.
- Neat travel case.

Cons
- Price: much better earphones available for this price bracket (e.g. RHA MA350s even with their poor build quality - made up by their excellent customer service and 3 yr warranty).
- These offer no better audio than the earphones that come with Apple products.
- Very little bass (even after meddling with iPhone EQ levels).
- Rustling from the braided cable is annoying. Looping the earbud around the ear helps with the rustling, but leaves the controls un-naturally close to the ear.

Vax Performance Floor-2-Floor Pet Eco Upright Vacu&hellip by Vax
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I found this cleaner to be cumbersome to carry and unwieldy to use, it doesn't run smoothly over wooden floors, rugs or carpet despite trying the different floor settings. However, the suction was excellent and it did make light… Read more
The Golem and the Djinni by Helene Wecker
The Golem and the Djinni by Helene Wecker
4.0 out of 5 stars An enjoyable read, 31 Aug 2013

Set in New York at the end of the nineteenth century, this tells the story of two magical creatures, a Golem and Djinni, brought together who must learn to live amongst humans and to trust each other if they are to survive. On the whole, I found the story to be well written and the two lead characters engaging, however I found the denouement to be a bit rushed and a little anti-climatic. Still, 'The Golem and the Djinni' is an enjoyable novel and definitely worth a read.
