4.0 out of 5 stars 2-D or not 2-D, 18 April 2011
It seems out of character for a Gorillaz album to materialise so soon after its predecessor. There was a four year gap between the 'self-titled' album and 'Demon Days' and five years between that and 'Plastic Beach'. So many of us are still digesting Plastic Beach and 'pop' there's a new album. The reason being, 'The Fall' is not really a conventional album in the true sense of the word. What Albarn has essentially done is produced an almost solo effort "recorded between Montreal and Vancouver over 32 days last autumn in North America". WALL-E (2 Disc Special Edition) [DVD] DVD ~ Ben Burtt
4.0 out of 5 stars A 'Rubbish' Love Story, 7 April 2011
Wall-E, as any decent film should, covers a range of topics; the advent of technology and the superseding of raw human values with machinery. Global warming, Capitalism. This inability to speak is every single way round the absolute charm of the film.

What also makes the film slightly more… Read more

This game lights up the mind, and is a treat for the senses.

Sometimes console games surpass certain standards of acceptance and take things a step further. This game does just that. What I mean by that is there seems to be similar features that re-occur throughout video games, predictability ensues; games fall from being magnificent to good. Which is no huge criticism, we all need escapisms and video games are, by and by an effective means of pursuing this. However this is no average game, this doesn't fall into mediocrity and its attention to detail from every aspect make it stand out; it is one of those gems that could inspire people non too keen on console gaming to take a… Read more
