I bought books 1 and 2 on the market (sorry Amazon) and before i got half way through the first, i went on-line (Amazon) and bought the others just so that i didn't have to wait for delivery after i finished the second.

I'm currently reading the Lost Fleet series, which is also very good, but The saga of Seven Suns is much more detailed, covering multiple scenarios on different worlds with different casts of people. At first, as with any new book, it takes a little while (for me at least) to remember all the peoples names, what race they belong, what world they live and how it relates to the rest of the story but once you get it automaticaly you'll fly through the book and be… Read more

This book was recommended by a number of people over the last couple of years and i finally bought a while back back where it stayed in the cupboard for another few months. When i did start reading it i was annoyed at myself for not getting it sooner........

This is a MUST HAVE for anyone who has any interest in the origins of science and how things were discovered over the last few centuries. It is amazing what some scientists were willing to do to prove their research was right or taking credit for other peoples work and claim it as their own. This book is fully up to date, now that Pluto isn't a classed as a planet, with beautiful pictures and easy writing. I will be getting of this book out of the cupboard even if it just for looking at these amazing pictures.
