I'm not one to go on about books or write a review but hey, I really enjoyed it. I found it involving and apreciated the candour of Adam's 'Warts and all' portrayal of his life. I identified with the pressure to re-invent yourself to escape the past. In a way it reminded me of Cider With Rosie.

Great read, and predictably better than the film. Lots of suspense and colour from the streets and inside the prison.
Loved the tension, best drug smuggling prison book out there. What a sense of relief at the end.
The Trials and Triumphs of Les Dawson by Louis Barfe

Book is ok and readable, and a good subject, but was expecting more biographical details, which I really wanted to know about. Interesting aspects about some of his work. Sad to see characters of Les's kind, are sadly diminishing. There will never be another quite like him.
