A reasonably good adaptation of an excellent book - some of the story threads were mixed up compared to the book timeline and as often happens with film little was done to explain the why or how of certain things which seriously weakened it - for example nothing was done to explain why or how the Shadow hunter's blades are able to kill demons where normal weapons don't - the viewer is just expected to go along without questioning anything. In that sense the books are far, far more satisfying and the film a pale echo. All the same, an enjoyable enough film for a Sunday afternoon; but if its a solid story you want with fully formed believable characters and a fiction world which really grabs… Read more

Excellent value little alarm clock, arrived quickly. Very simple operation, nice clear display. The only small improvement would be if there was a light one could activate for night-time viewing - the luminous dial is good but obviously in a very dark room there's only so much it can do :-)

Not a patch on the story telling quality of the mortal instruments or infernal devices writing. Had intended to buy all of these as Bane is such a fabulous character in those books, but this has put me off completely
