Fabled Lands : Lords of the Rising Sun by Dave Morris

The 6th "land" in the Fabled Lands series and a great setting for the hardest adventures yet. Slay a dragon (and find it's mystical pearl), meet the Tengu (and convince them to teach you their arts) and take part in the intrigue of the courts of the Lords of the Rising Sun.

Probably the most iconic of the 6 (so far) nations presented in the series (in my opinion), where you can choose to side with the ancient High King to recover his throne or pursue eternal glory through the Court of Hidden Faces (or, help both if you don't like to take sides!). The rewards in this journey are worth the risk and any fabled lands adventurer (or any other adventurer for that matter!) should happily set out to explore these lands.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Gamebook RPG, 27 Nov 2010
This is the re-release of the first book of one of the best gamebook RPGs ever produced. Quest can begin in one book and end up crossing other two, jut to finish in a fourth book. Each book can be played as standalone adventures, but they are best when combined (there are a total of 6 soon to be published books and other 6 to be published in the future). This first book is the best one in which to start your adventures, but soon you will be hungering for all 12!

The adventures sold are in turn epic, funny… Read more
