2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing, 7 Oct 2012
I love all Deer Tick's previous albums. I love their rawness and their punch. However, while all their previous albums were raucous, they also had depth, a magical combination. In my opinion this lacks any kind of depth whatsoever, and songs like "Let's all go to the bar" may as well be written by a bunch of 18 year old students in the 1980's. So, it's just my opinion, but I think this is a pretty poor album, which is a shame.

5.0 out of 5 stars Old Crow do it again, 7 Oct 2012
I think the Old Crow are a great band, I've loved all their previous albums (and they are superb live) so was very eager to get this one. It didn't disappoint. This is some great old time bluegrass. There are some particular gems on here as well such as Levi, Genevieve and Ain't it Enough. Perhaps not quite as consistent as one or two of their previous albums, but this is more than made up for by the gems. If you like old timey bluegrass, I think you'll love this.

For the price these are very nice. Comfortable and sturdy. They don't feel like a very expensive slipper, but they do feel as though they should cost a lot more than 8 quid. If you're looking for a nice slipper at a low price this is just the job.
