All the other (positive) reviewers are bang on the money. This book will have you hooked, when I finished it I entered a period of malaise, longing for its return. It is a highly insightful piece which, delivered in its raw unsentimental style, injects this addictive cocktail straight to your core. A real good pick-up, definitely recommend, and with the informative treat of an introduction by Oliver Harris, you'll really be in the mood to shoot up with this Class A novel. I just need to get another Burroughs book in a similar vein...

I bought this album the other day, even though I have been a necro fanatic for almost 4 years I was quite reluctant to buy this album because I was expecting in all truth, a far more rocky metal style to the songs like in pre fix for death featuring people from slipknot, anthrax etc. But I was wrong even though there are a few songs like that they are really good, after hearing some of the songs on myspace I thought this next album would not be for me, but I did not give them chance, songs like no remorse and some get back are really good lyrically, they remind me of the classic gory days style.

This album to tell you the truth is not what I expected at all. I was hoping for an instrumental beefheart album or something like that with Zoot Horn Rollo hitting a linear note for hours on end with Rockette Morton going bonkers on bass but believe me it is a real effort by the band to change direction from the puppetry of the Captain's music. The tunes sort of have a country blues feel but the music is quite marvellous with some a hint of Magic band in the music, they do resemble a more commercial band, which is quite ironic because they got no where!
