After Culture Club split up in 1986,guitarist Roy Hay teamed up with a great singer called Robinson Reid and released this one and only album. This is a fantastic soul/pop album which contains 3 singles in Tell me why,If i can't have you(cover of saturday night fever hit),and Louise(a ballad). There are no week tracks on this lp and the last track is a bonus track to the cd and tape.
Inside my love is a great jazzy number. The 3 singles are the best on here along with Lets go the reins, and I will. There's another ballad called Sweet Rhapsody which is also enjoyable. The rest of the tracks are upbeat and well worth a listen.BUY NOW!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars "That's the way"!!!, 9 Dec 2009
Excellent pop album from the best backing singer ever, and sadly the ONLY album she ever made!.Helen's powerful vocal's are highlighted on several ballad's here and do great justice to the pop track's just as well as they did when she sang for Culture Club.Helen displays her songwriting talent's by co-writing 9 of the track's here,4 with Boy George and Roy Hay,one of which,"Feeling your heart",sounds similar to the Thompson Twins.Another,Boy George sing's co-vocal's on "Laughter on my mind",which is a piano ballad in the same vein as "That's the way" off Culture Club's "Colour by numbers" l.p.This re-issued version of the cd which was originally out in 1986 and been deleted for a long… Read more
