Heard 'New Town' on 6 and tried it out. It's REALLY good. Kind of like a contemporary Gentle Giant but with far nicer clothes. Always a good sign when I play it too much in the car and keep neglecting to play other new CDs. The couple of duller tracks, 'Pilgrim St' and 'From hide and seek' are, of course, the less adventurous. Other than that, nothing hangs around for long, which makes for a sparkly and extremely melodic roller coaster ride. 1% guilty pleasure, 99% top stuff. Should be interesting to see what they're live, later in the year. Fascinating to see the 'this is dull stuff' comments - go on - mention what DOES float your boats then!

Bought this for a murder mystery play set in a 'Fawlty Towers'-type hotel. Well, it looks the part, and sometimes, if the wind's blowing in the right direction it gives a fairly satisfactory 'ting'. However, it sometimes doesn't, which isn't too good. Sat on the window sill in the Drama studio as a momento of a fun evening. Not terrible, just not wonderful.

I can see how a much shorter person might struggle, although my 13 year old daughter 5ft 2) re-sets the height and is able to use is with ease - now if I could just get her to put the height setting back when she's finished using it..... The seat is large but doesn't inhibit peddling and the 'chunky' pedal straps don't seem to be a problem at all. Not that bothered yet with the range of settings, which do look impressive, but just focusing on putting in a half… Read more
