4.0 out of 5 stars yay!, 29 May 2004
I really enjoy reading the "shopaholic" series and it is just too funny, Shopaholic and Sister is no different. It's full of laughs and also a few sad bits too. And all along the way you are swept along with Becky in her journey. You can laugh at her outrageousness of spending, but we all know that there's someone like that in us somewhere. This book is funny and exactly like becky. It's not heavy, but light hearted fun which will have you into becky's world in no time. This is a really good book and I really recommend it to those who already read the shopaholic books and also those looking for something funny to read. fantastic

3.0 out of 5 stars Its ok to good, 27 May 2004
This book is quite good, it brings the reader along to help them to understand the concepts of accounting. It does help you to grasp the basics, that you need to get by. However, if you want more depth in more subjects then this isnt the book. When I got this book, it struck me at how small it was, I was kind of expecting a text book type book. It is good, depending on what you are looking for. If you are looking for more detail, manufacturing accounts etc., then this isn't for you. But what this book does cover is good and explained so well and so easy to understand. But I'm still searching for a book which explains other accounting stuff which is easy to understand. Does it exist?!!
AS and A Level Geography Through Diagrams (Oxford &hellip by Garrett Nagle
3.0 out of 5 stars Its good, 27 May 2004
This revision guide is very good because Geography is a subject whereby you have to draw diagrams to gain marks and things are easier explained by using diagrams. So it's great to use these diagrams in your exam questions.
The simplicity of the diagrams shows processes well, but as they are in a form of diagram, there is a lack of detail - this book is great if you are trying to get the important basic facts right... (at the last minute?!?) It is a great book I would recommend it, but it depends what type of learner you are. Not all people can learn through diagrams - visually - as everyone is different and have their own ways.
