If you use Photoshop, at whatever level, this is a book which should never be out of arm's reach.. Even if you have vast experience with the program, there will always be that moment when you can't remember which setting does what or why the function you just used didn't perform in the way you expected it would..

As the title suggests, this is an index of Photoshop in visual form. Everything is broken down and listed alphabetically so if you're looking for information on Motion Blur, for instance; you'll find it under M rather than B. For anyone wishing to make the most of their photos using Elements, this book should definitely be high on their wish-list. The author has packed a huge amount of information into its pages, not only dealing with the program and its techniques but the whole image making experience. The content is comprehensive and informative with illustrative screenshots throughout.

Beginning with a brief description of the fundamentals of digital imaging; in terms of capture, editing and output. Firstly, don't be put off by the word professional in this title's sub-heading. If you're serious about digital photography at any level and want the very best from your images, this is certainly a book to have in your library. Martin Evening has used his expertise in both photographic technique and Photoshop to produce a reference which is highly informative and easy to follow. This weighty tome explains in superb detail how to employ Photoshop to fix, enhance, manipulate and output your finished images.
