When I connected it up to my new HP PC it resulted in me not being able to boot the machine into Windows. Plus after several attempts to identify the problem I had to recover Windows because I could not even boot the machine once this unit was disconnected.
My Amazon Supplier did not have any knowledge of this product so I contacted Seagate Support and they requested I run the Seagate Seatools utility to check the unit. This utility failed the unit and reported many disc sector issues so I contacted my Amazon Supplier and have now returned the unit for a refund that I expect to receive the money in the near future.
