The Little Book That Beats the Market (Little Book&hellip by Joel Greenblatt

5.0 out of 5 stars Well worth seeing!, 26 Sep 2008
This is a surprisingly good horror movie with several extremely gory scenes but also very decent acting (for a horror movie at least!) and a story line that makes sense and is quite believable. There are a few occasions where it gets a bit slow as we witness some character development. All in all, a solid mix of a psychological horror/thriller with a few very gory and memorable scenes. I've seen pretty much every horror movie out there and this was one that stayed in memory for a long time. Well worth watching!

I would have given this a 5 star rating was it not for the very weak story and bad bad acting. The editing is also very chaotic, which is rather annoying. However, if you are looking for lots of extremely gory scenes, this movie is a true gem. In fact, I have never seen so much gore in any movie, and best of all, these scenes are extremely realistic and very well made. If the acting and story line were better this would have been the best horror movie ever. Still, well worth buying for fans of extreme violence/gore cinema. Forget pathetic movies like Hostel (with barely 3 minutes of scary stuff in the whole movie), or seriously outdated and laughable stuff like Cannibal Holocaust. Barricade… Read more
