A Second Chance (The Chronicles of St Mary's Book &hellip by Jodi Taylor

This is the best one yet. All the humour, tragedy, and roller coaster of a storyline that the first two books were bursting with, but with a depth of characterisation and sophistication of plot and subplots which mark the authors increasing confidence in her own abilities. Finished in less than a day, head spinning with how the story continued. Simply excellent.

Best book I've read in ages, even more remarkable as it's currently free. Won't be for long though, this book and it's sequels will get snapped up by a publisher (and film producer I bet) really soon. This lady is going to be famous, mark my words. An absolute original, funniest Sci Fi writing since (and possible including) Douglas Adams.

Many authors these days employ a narrative device right at the end of a book known as a "climax". This usually means having something really exciting or unexpected (or both) happen so that the reader ends the book on a high, rather than scratching one's head and saying "Is that it?" Give it a try, Andrew, I bet you'd be really good at it!
