As usual with a Francis Ray romance, this was a good read and I learnt more about what being a NASCAR driver entails. However, it did not fulfil as a 'Grayson' novel to me and I only bought it because of the connection. I missed the Grayson connection link as I was looking forward to hearing how the family were doing and whether there were any babies on the way. But except for Luke's wife working with Cameron and Caitlyn on the phone and Faith and Brandon showing up to the party there was no 'Grayson' news. At least in Shane's story you heard/interacted with the clan. This didn't really 'feel' like a Grayson friends and family novel to me so I hope this is not a pattern going forward.
