The White Cuckoo by Annie Ireson
The White Cuckoo by Annie Ireson
5.0 out of 5 stars Loved this book, 22 Jun 2014
I loved this book, a real page turner, the story takes place all in a week. Tammy returns to the village her dead mother pippa, comes from to carry out her dying wish. But that is only part of this brilliant original tale, it has many twists and turns right till the very end. Read it I'm sure you will enjoy the tale.
Narrow Margins - a laugh-out-loud book about life &hellip by Marie Browne
3.0 out of 5 stars Mostly good, 19 Jun 2014
I did enjoy parts of this book, lots of technical information that was interesting, really enjoyed the family's trip to their ' home' mooring, but.... really couldn't understand why the author could not seem to be able to control her young son, who annoyingly seemed very spoilt and uncontrollable. I don't think I will buy the next book.
Bitter Winds (Tales of the Scavenger's Daughters, &hellip by Kay Bratt
5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderfull read, 18 April 2014
I really didn't want this book to end. The story continues to tell of the lives of 'the scavenger ' family. It is very touching especially the ending ( poor Sami) I hope Kay Bratt is intending to write more in this series, I'd like to read more about this loving family.
