5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful book, 17 April 2014
Sarah Bakewell writes beautifully, with wit and humour. This is the most refreshing book I have read in years. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wires that work, 20 Dec 2012
This is a comprehensive set of good quality wires and makes blocking of large items very simple indeed. The kit contains t-pins (which can be hard to source, so useful to have here) and a metre rule. The cardboard tube packaging is sturdy enough for long-term storage. I am very happy with this product.
Finishing School (Master Class for Knitters) by Deborah Newton

This is a must-have for all knitters, not least because Deborah Newton emphasises that good finish begins with good planning. Very clear diagrams, photos and written explanations, variations and suggestions and a selection of patterns to try out make this an invaluable aid to the serious garment-creator or would-be knitwear designer.
