I am amazed at the amount of good reviews that book has - I chose it on the basis of those earlier reviews and am sorry to have believed them and wasted my money in doing so. I love my chick lit and never like to give up on any book (and have battled to the end of some howlers as a result!) but this is just awful and I had to give up halfway through. One of the reasons is that the language that the author has used is annoying and grates after a while. I'm not old - I'm only 30 - but the amount of slang makes it hard to read. Not sure how other reviewers are saying that they didn't see it coming - I did a mile off! Quite predictable in fact in my opinion. I don't want to give anything away about the plot etc in line with #KeepTheSecret but I implore you to read, no, devour this book... I simply adored it and can't stop thinking about it. So much so that its making choosing what to read next very difficult. I don't want to leave Jo and Dean just yet. I didn't like Parks last novel much but am so pleased that she's back up there with what I think is her best yet.

Please, please read! You WILL NOT regret it!
