Mutineers ~ David Gray
Mutineers ~ David Gray
David Gray on top form and the 3 album version is a must. Saw David debut these songs at the end of last year in Northern Ireland. David is full of energy at the minute and in this album it shines through. All great songs even the previously criticised song Cake here. This is a must for all music fans and is original album of the year ranking alongside Wilko's for album of the year. David is so underrated and also a great guy as nothing is too much trouble for his fans as he showed in Ireland he has time for everybody. This is a 6 star album!

I have music by the Faces and the Small Faces but Ronnie's solo stuff was a big gap in my collection and this collection fills it perfectly!
Love the sound contrary to some reviews and the songs on it fill the gap for me. Forgotten what a great song the Poacher is but there are other gems on here for me such as Steppin and Reelin, One for the Road, Harvest Home and Don't try & Change my mind. The live stuff is brilliant as well.
I have always felt that Ronnie was a big influence in both Faces incarnation's and his solo stuff was undervalued.
I would have no hesitation to say buy it and PLAY IT LOUD!

This is a great album and is already the best album of the last 12 months. This is as good as the very best R&B from the 60/70's and contrary to some reviews I think Daltrey is back to what he did best in the 70s singing great rock and blues. If this is Wilko’s last recorded album (hopefully not) then when anyone says in 30 years time who was Wilko Johnson they can be pointed to this album and know who he was. A brilliant rock musician, legendary guitarist and great songwriter. This album is full of energy and is a must have. Not a dud track. If you are a serious Rock fan this is a must have album. I originally bought it to support Wilko as have always been a Feelgood fan but this is a very… Read more
