Red Hot Chili Peppers ''By the Way'', produced by Rick Rubin, and with cover art by artist Julian Schnabel, follows up on the multi-platinum selling''Californication'' of 1999.
The album is not so much the logical next step but instead a giant leap forwards from ''Califonication''. Off the Map is the first LIVE concert dvd to be released by the Red Hot Chili Peppers and follows up 1991's Funky Monks home video/dvd documentary. Off the Map was filmed at the Portland Memorial Coliseum on September 21, 2000 and showcases 70 minutes of RED HOT live concert footage, with an additional 50 minutes of pre show backstage footage, interviews and extra live bonus tracks. 120 minutes in all.
The show is consistant throughout and the Peppers perform a very favourable setlist, with a diversity of songs from old to new to please the older fans without distancing themselves from the more casual listener. The show opens up with flaming and upbeat versions of 'Around the World'… Read more

highly sought after and exceptionally rare, Live Rare Remix Box, released in 1994, takes the Blood Sugar Sex Magik legacy or 'era' a step further, arguably a time when the peppers were at their best.
The 'Live' cd features a live studio recording of 'Give It Away in Progress' and live performances circa 1991-92 of 'Suck My Kiss', 'Nobody Weird Like Me' and 'I Could Have Lied'. The 'Rare' cd features many of the b-side songs that were recorded during the making of BSSM. these include the EXTREMELY rare 'Soul to Squeeze', once released as a… Read more
