Hopefully the heated debates over the value of Charles Beauclerk's magnificent new book "Shakespeare's Lost Kingdom" will continue to attract new readers, who will then think for themselves and come to their own conclusions. Publication of this book marks the first time any author has had the knowledge, insights and courage to look honestly and unflinchingly at Shakespeare's deepest subject matter and report back the truth as he has found it.

And this truth, shocking as it might be, becomes a new lens through which to see the works of Shakespeare as if for the first time, and to comprehend a huge array of otherwise incomprehensible aspects of them.
