Mister Holgado (Oberon Plays for Young People) by Christopher William Hill
4.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant, 2 Aug 2013
A fantastic play - 5 stars but tt doesn't really come across in the reading. I bought this because I thought it was a book on which the play I saw at the Unicorn Theatre (2013) was based. If you find a production anywhere make sure you go but only buy this if you intend to produce the play.
Shit New York: Snapshots of the City That Never Sl&hellip by Patrick Dalton
5.0 out of 5 stars Another Shit Winner, 2 Aug 2013
Patrick has an eye for the funny, absurd, crazy things that make a city special. If you've been to New York you'll love this book, if you've not been, it will make you want to go. More shit please.

This book shows where the GRIM in Grimsby came from.

Life was tough, but this is no Monty Python 'we had to eat sawdust' memoir. This is gut wrenching abuse and eventually redemption told with heart and no little humour.

It's ghost written but the voice of Dean, whoever he really is, is distinct and strong.

There is so much rubbish on television at the moment, if they want to make something with truth, they should adapt this.
