Aladdin (Special O-ring Artwork Edition) [Blu-ray]&hellip
100% Region free played fine on my Canadian Blu Ray player. The great Robin Williams gives an amazing performance & the Disney magic rules this film. Superb Alan Menken score.

Sadly not all the extras from the Platinum edition ported over, but in no way bothers me, the film is presented in DTS & wide screen.

A great movie moment indeed.

Tough Guys [DVD] [1987] DVD ~ Burt Lancaster
A wonderful letter box 2.35.1 copy of a terrific comedy from the 1980's.

The two legends of Lancaster & Douglas really pull off the laughs & the satire. Throw in Eli Wallach as a crazy hit man & it's a fun few hours.

Story of two old timers trying to make it in the world after years in prison together & their falling out & back in with each other and a train robbery, literally a plan to steal a train.

Just darn good fun, not a big effects film, just two screen legends doing what they do best entertaining us with a terrific movie.

I'm in Canada & this is not available, it is region 2 coded, so for those outside the UK/Region 2 zone, make sure you… Read more
Slade in Flame [DVD/CD] DVD ~ Slade
Slade the iconic group of the early 1970's UK muisc scene, here for their one & only big screen performance.

Do they pull it off, as muscians being actors I really think so.

The story of a group of local talents being scooped up by a major marketing company to put them in the big time & how it all falls apart, with shady characters from their past.

Support from Alan Lake & Bill Conti make this movie a must, for lovers of early 1970's UK films & of course Slade's great songs, How Does It Feel & Far Far Away being the two real show stoppers.

There is a great documentary as extras with extensive & honest interviews by the band and the director &… Read more
