Dewey Finn played by Jack Black (See also High Fidelity -->great film also) takes a job teaching from his housemate. Dewey is a total DUDE! He loves the sound of his guitar (and his own voice). He falls into teaching a class of well those types you never hung out with at school, big glasses and lack of hormones. Dewey converts these little dudes into Rock musicians, this film is the power, "the power of rock" ! It's easy watching so don't think too hard while you sink into it.

OK, so I've seen the first two episodes and am absolutely hooked. I wanted to play Football for life but edged out to follow a less finacially rewarding career. I'm not saying I want to be like these characters, but... it does seem to show glimpses of reality from time to time(did I really say that). I like the analogies you can make to players and managers and the surreal reality/comedy/harsh story lines. Yes theres the very pretty girls and the fast cars, drink, drugs, broken marriages but who cares, it's not like most of us will ever know... its great fun and gripping viewing.

Absolutely hooked. Couldn't stop watching it to the point where life is now simply rubbish waiting for the third series!
Set in LA theres a Nuclear bomb about to be set off, CTU (Counter Terrorist Unit) needs Jack Bauers help to identify and find the Bomb. Inevitable twists in this 24 series give glimpses of how politics are working behind closed doors. The plot is seemless and the characters well developed. The feel is classy and the acting above standard for what is a TV series. Buy it, love it, loathe not having another episode to watch!
