I absolutely loved reading this book, though I watched the film a few years ago and only just got round to reading the book. There were so many parts in this book that reduced me to uncontrollable tears; both the horrifically shocking and the heart-warming scenes that were so realistic, they made me cry even more. Despite the constant presence of tears in my eyes, this is a fantastic book: the characters are believable and very well presented, the plot is well paced and the descriptions are tremendously imaginative.

I felt as though I was slowly being drawn into Kate's world, with the numerous memories and encounters that she reveals from the past to compare to her present… Read more
