After less than 2 months usage the base unit has failed (kettle works perfectly).
After calling Russell Hobbs (0845-658-9700)I discover that they do not carry any stock of base units to deal with this situation and at your own risk and COST the whole product has to be returned. The cost to Russell Hobbs of holding a small stock of base units would be minimal and excellent Customer Service would be to simply send a replacement.
As a qualified engineer I found the attitude of the Customer Service function to be extremely negative and unhelpful and question why I the poor customer has to spend so much time and effort for a part that probably costs Russell Hobbs less than… Read more
