The Book was great. But i do feel that there are SOME PROBLEMS with this book. Deffinately worth reading though. on the synopsis segment of the Amazon page it doesnt quite give what i found particularly interesting. Michael Asher (ex-Para and 23 SAS)follows the footsteps of those in the B20 Mission to De-bunk its Rambo like myths and see if it is actually true. People argue, rightly to a degree, that Mr.Asher wrote this 10 years after the mission and that how can this guy (Asher) claim to know the truth behind the B20 misson when he had no part of it.

5.0 out of 5 stars VERY VERY INTERESTING, 14 Jan 2007
I find the SBS much more interesting than the SAS because they seem to love being in the shadows, unlike their SAS sisters. And i find that much more interesting than the nuts out shoot them up and call it a day sas book.

It dives deep in to SBS history from their foundings to todays operations. The book has lots of good photographs and diagrams showing maps and recon drawings. They are every bit as daring and brave as the SAS but they seem to use their patience and brains to execute their missions.(no disrespect to the sas)

the book is a must buy.

Its on for a lengthy 3 hours or so. It has some interesting interviews with the Airborne WW2 veterans (British and American). I Was really enjoying it and was expecting a good portion of the DVD to have a t least a lengthy part about the PARAS (they should being that theres a friggin PARA on the front). All that was said about the PARAS was basically what you can allready find out from their website (including the video footage).

I was hoping for a lengthy segment about the paras and their training. All that was said was "The training is the toughest the British Army has to offer...." and thats it. Well....wheres the rest. I know its about all airborne forces but they could have… Read more
