A lot more glam influenced than the follow up 'Total 13' this is a superb album which gives some indication of where the band were headed. 'Electric Suzy' and the Ramones quoting 'Fill Up This Bad Machine' are the high points of a great album although the big surprises (if, like me, you heard Total 13 first) are the almost ballad like 'Heaven In Hell' and the seven minute epic 'Shame'. If you own Total 13 and like it, buy this. If you don't own Total 13, buy both.

Probably the only band today which keeps the spirit of rock alive and this album shows other bands how it should be done. No ballads, no filler just 13 fast rock songs which combine the best elements of some of the great acts of the last 20 years. Any self repecting rock fan should own this already but if not it's about time you did.

Don't buy it if you only want 'The Bad Touch'- nothing else on the album sounds like it and you would probably be better off buying the… Read more
