I received the complete folio (1-12) and have been enjoying each one eagerly.
They were printed many years ago so "perfection" is hard to obtain - but any complete set with prints and Q&A sheet are just fun to read.
With the help of 10 or 15 typical art works John Canaday gives a "seminar" on art and schools of art. He teaches you some of the very basic alphabet ideals on how to enjoy art a little bit more.
Each seminar takes maybe an hour to read - but to be honest I'm now getting the looking glass out and really looking at the excellent prints and enjoying whole new perspectives.

The title of this book is Vegetarian Cookbook - the product title goes as far as to redefine it as SUGAR FREE Vegetarian Cookbook.
Now wander down to the "look inside" option and look at the very first recipie - we have both Pure maple syrup and chocolate chips.
(There is also peanut butter, but let's just not go there.)
It then throws in Vegan protein powder without any reference as to what kind of health food shop you need to frequent to buy the stuff.

I am very lucky and have purchased this to enjoy selfishly. It is a real treat to wander in a world of gentle nostalgia.
The illustrations work surprisingly well on the monochrome kindle eReader, They are wonderful pastels on the free Kindle for PC application.
If you have any of the Kindle Fire tablets I think this would be a lovely addition to your library for pleasure, for demonstration of graphics abilities and for entrancing any little people in your life.
