This was one of those "last minute" books that you spot on the way out of a bookshop. For some reason, it just caught my eye (shouldn't judge a book by its cover, I know!).
I started reading it and before I knew it, I'd got through the 1st 100 pages. It is such an atmospheric book, I've never been to Burma, but the book actually takes you there, whereas other books can try, but just don't manage it.
Patrica has done her homework, there's no doubt about that. The political details were spot on all the way through.
I won't tell you about the plot, you can find that on the sypnosis, all I will say is "BUY IT".
