I had this album on cdr for a few year, but unfortunately it was full of pops and clicks and other surface noise,so when i saw this has had a legit reissue by these good folks over at Tune In Records(part of cherry red)i jumped at the chance to get it,and man was i not disappointed with it,hearing it in great sound which im sure were taken from the masters. This is top notch West Coast styled psych with a booklet of informative liners and fab period photos of the group, all done in Tune Ins immaculate way!!This cd has so many good things about it,but i really cant pick out faves as im still smitten with hearing it,it really is all good!!,theres great harmonies and fuzzed up guitar to boot all… Read more

When this cd came thumping through my letter box,i had never heard this album before,so i took a gamble by buying it,WOW!!!Am i happy i did?Of course i am,its a delightful album with lush orchestration and well arranged music with woodwind arrangements getting a look in too along with a fanfare of trumpets .To my ears this is top rated orchestrated psych which really does deserve to be heard by more people. As with all Tune In(part of cherry red) releases it a lovely all round package with extensive liners and cracking period photos of the group!!This album comes highly recommended it must've cost an arm and a leg to record as theres no skimping on the arrangements which are fabulously put… Read more

Im afraid this album which is pretty good has the worst mastering i have heard for a long time,AVOID at all costs Axis should be ashamed to release a product thats so shoddy it would give a bootlegger a red face(do you have a red face Axis??)This album trully deserves a legit reissue from the masters if possible, how can any label release such a bad product,do they not have quality control at Axis towers??
