This, to my knowledge, is the only book of its kind, ever written about world famous German strong man Hermann Goerner. It is 135 pages long.

Hermann Goerner was a famous strongman who lived through the times of the 1st and 2nd world wars.

He was a remarkable strongman who started training at the early age of 10 years old. He grew to the incredible weight of 20 stones 10lb's or 290 lb's at 43 years of age (this was during the pre-steroid era)

He set world records in the deadlift (793 lb's) and one arm deadlifted (554 lb's) and curled 110kgs or 242lb's!

and performed many and varied impressive feats of strength much too numerous to mention… Read more
The Strongest Man That Ever Lived: (Original Versi&hellip by George Jowett
I found reading this book about Louis Cyr very inspiring and thoroughly enjoyable and no doubt I shall read it again one day in the future...

It is a good little book, only 110 pages long and written by another world famous author and old time strongman George F. Jowett.

The authors passion, enthusiasm and love of strength, strongmen of old and the iron game shines through on every page.

Louis Cyr was an incredible Canadian strongman who was very active and competitive during his strength career.

He travelled to England, Scotland and all around the world challenging and easily defeating all comers in battles and tests of strength...

This is a great introduction to survivor.

It is like a 'superior' greatest hits type compilation but with some lesser known tracks thrown in for good measure.

It has 18 different tracks from various survivor albums...

Tracks include: Summer nights. Hesitation dance. Eye of the tiger.

Ever since the world began (the theme tune from 'lock up')

I can't hold back. High on you. The search is over. It's the singer not the song. Rebel son (similar to ever since the world began)

When seconds count. Too hot to sleep.

and 7 other tracks.

an attractive cd cover/design & well worth the money.
