Doctor Who - Series 3 Vol. 3 [DVD] DVD ~ David Tennant
One of the things I dislike about the 'new' Doctor Who episodes is that forty five minutes is too short a time for a story. The best 'new' Who dramas are the two parters, where a story can unfold over ninety minutes; it feels less rushed and allows for deeper characterisation and plot lines.
'Blink' is the exception. A fantastic 45 minute episode; not too short. Great performance all round.

4.0 out of 5 stars Bad Wolf., 25 Jun 2009

5.0 out of 5 stars 'Father's Day'., 25 Jun 2009
'Father's Day' is one of the best episodes from Chris Eccleston's stint as the Doctor.
This is genuinely emotionally affecting drama. I cried buckets!
Billie Piper is an excellent and under-rated actress, effortlessly natural and capable of conveying myriad emotions.
One to watch again and agian.
