The main problem is that every time you pick it up or move the tiers the screw at the bottom unscrews a little. Result: it never stands up straight as it does on the picture. It leans on some other piece of furniture or the wall.
Sociolinguistics: An Introduction to Language and &hellip by Peter Trudgill
5.0 out of 5 stars Very readable, 14 April 2012
I'm a linguistics students and I wanted to know more about sociolinguistics as I don't have it in my courses. The book is very explanatory and easy to read. You don't need background knowledge.
Beginner's Japanese (Hippocrene Beginner's) by Joanne R. Claypoole
Lessons do have a transcription in Japanese alphabets, but it's at the end and it's not integrated with the vocabulary and the lesson itself. In the end you don't really go there to check how words are written. Result: you learn how to say things but don't learn how to write them.
