Beethoven : Complete Symphonies ~ Sir Simon Rattle
Beethoven : Complete Symphonies ~ Sir Simon Rattle

I bought these to replace my old set of von Karajan Beethoven symphonies, which no longer played properly because the foam inserts between the CDs had decayed over time and adhered to the discs. I was really pleased to find this set available for such a bargain price, and they're great recordings, as you would expect from Simon Rattle and the Vienna Philharmonic. What's more, all the packaging is cardboard - no pesky multi-disc jewel cases with rubbishy foam padding. 5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent travel product, 14 April 2013
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
This great little atomizer is perfect for taking your favourite perfume on holiday. You just pull the diffuser off your perfume bottle and press the base of the Travolo onto the nozzle. It fills easily, sprays well, looks elegant and is compact and robust - perfect for journeys. Highly recommended.
Rock Chronicles: Music - Every Legend, Every Line-&hellip by David Roberts
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
This book covers rock acts from Elvis to the present day. It's great fun to dip in to, and you are bound to learn something new each time you open it. Most bands get a double-page spread, with pictures of the various members, timelines, summaries of album sales and a concise description of their place in rock history. Some groups also get an additional 2 pages devoted to photos, and these are great. Unfortunately this means that you do feel really short-changed if your own personal favourite only gets one page and that's sadly the case with Roxy Music. If The Jam and The Prodigy are both deserving of 4 pages, then surely Roxy are too. OK it's a personal thing but I have to deduct one star.
