A book you don't want to put down as you get involved with all the characters and the way the family dynamic evolves and the characters make discoveries about themselves. A very good analysis of the complexity of family relationships and emotional involvement. Loved the book. As alway with J. Trollope, her style is fluid, intelligent and a pleasure to read. Her characters are well defined and the plot easy to follow. I recommend this book.

Loved the book - it's beautifully written and crafted - although the plot is at times a little difficult to follow - and you need to keep track of the dates at the beginning of each chapter and the various 'lives' of the main character Ursula as it jumps from her birth in 1910 to the 1960's, although the end of the book does make sense of it all... A very good and intelligent read.

The trays are very small and very soft so extremely difficult to carry into the freezer once filled with water. It may be my fault for not reading the description of the product properly, but I was very disappointed and find them very impractical. Not what I was expecting.
